Powerful practices to survive the madness and expectations of the holiday season.

The holiday season can be a hectic, energy draining and for some a time of anxiety.

✨ Who do you invite?
✨ Who do you say No to?
✨ How do you say No and not feel bad or them not feel bad?
✨ How to deal with your Mum? How to deal with your dad?
✨ How to emotionally survive the family drama that always come up?

These are just some of the occurring themes I see with almost all the women I am currently supporting.

So here are three powerful energetic practices I am working with almost each of my ladies with that may help you too…

✨ Practice good breathing during this period. Knowing how to breath properly will regulate your body, maintain your immune system, help you sleep better and energise you when you need it.

The key ? here practicing longer breaths engaging your diaphragm. Normally, most tend to breath shallow and fast.

✨ Practice working from your womb (and men your gut). For this will help you stay in your power ?? and grounded in your will to deal with challenges.

✨ Practice boundaries. This month we had an exercise of creating a set of boundaries. Surprisingly enough the resistant to create boundaries is there for most – as they feel it pushes people away. The magic of creating boundaries however is that it has the opposite effect.

It helps YOU put YOU first – so you are full and able to really be there/ give to others. Energetically as well, its a game changer, for most time you don’t have to say much (you are just energetically emitting your powerful set boundaries).

I hope the above helps. Love your thoughts too.

How do you survive the madness and expectations over this holiday period?

Ps: If all fails, be like this guy and party by yourself. He is happy ?

A quick way to tap into powerful self confidence when you feel you need to prove your worth or not good enough (in business and or career)…

Last week, the issues of confidence came up for two of the beautiful ladies I support.

  • In one case the issue was about having the confidence to ask for what she wanted.
  • In the other, it was about how to show up with confidence when you are ‘shy’ and you feel you are not good enough.

Both of these scenarios, a lot of women can relate to. Women mostly have a tendency to feel they are not good enough for what they want or even what they currently have.

Impostor Syndrome & Lack of Self Worth effect in motion.

It affects women careers, love life and growth in general.
It is either you:

  • are always trying to to prove your worth
  • or you stay hiding and don’t show up

I suffered from Impostor Syndrome for so many years whilst running my Video Production Company. So much so, I made my film directors the face of my business and on shoot I’d pretend to be the production assistant.?

And when I worked in tech, I did the opposite, I was always trying to prove that I was worth the money I was being paid. Never feeling I was worth it. A vicious circle because you cannot compare your worth to any about of money.

It all changed when I started practicing EMBODIMENT!

A process that helps you fully feel into the state of being worthy and knowing it. ?

For both of my clients here, I take them casually through a process where energetically they enter a state where they know they are worth it. And the result speaks for themselves.

So here is your task:

Before you go into another situation where you feel a dose of confidence is needed … do this:

Practice tapping into the emotional reasons why you need that thing. See it, feel it and believe it.

Feel the energy of the desire within your body, then go do your thing and surrender to whatever outcome, may come.

This is what I call the process of embodiment and its a process I use in my programme and day workshop. It is magic in action and you can use it starting right now.

Hope it works for you. Love to know your thoughts. x

Three Simple Questions Women Working In Male Dominated Environment Must Ask Themselves

Three Simple Questions Women Working In Male Dominated Environment Must Ask Themselves

Showing up as feminine in your power, in a male dominated environment can be tough… add to that, expectations to juggling family responsibilities.

I remember a couple of years ago, whilst balancing my video production company and taking contracts in tech as a Digital and IT transformation consultant (and juggling being a mother)…

My little one had a school performance (this same time in the year).
And I was expected to go present to some Key Stakeholders.

I almost cried on the way to that presentation. ?
I struggled, wanting to be there to watch my son (6) perform.
I remember getting to the station and the underground was closed. ?
There was chaos everywhere. Everyone had to walk to the next underground station.

To make matters worse it was raining heavily (but I can’t be sure, it could have been my tears ?).

I got there very very late, no presentation and even if I had gone to watch my son perform, I would have got to the venue the same time (due to the delay).

That day pushed me:

  • To find better balance
  • To identify what my top priorities were
  • To better operate from my feminine, listen to my intuition and show up in my power regardless.

Slowly, I reduced the length of contracts taking into 6 months in a year to 3months in the year, later to 0.
Doing this gave me the headspace to figure out what I want and work towards it.

  • What do you want to create in and out of work?
  • Are you getting the headspace to figure it out and plan for it?
  • How are you developing your inner power to fully show up in challenging and sometimes toxic work/ home environment?

Don’t suffer in silence. Where the environment proves to be too toxic, speak to someone.

What challenges are you currently experiencing and how are you managing with these?
